About The National Quality Mentoring System

REACH Memphis is committed to meeting quality standards for mentoring that are safe and effective. We strive to follow the nationally recognized best practices, known as the Elements of Effective Practices for Mentoring™ and established by MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership, to support quality youth mentoring relationships. To achieve these standards, REACH Memphis is a member of the National Quality Mentoring System and has completed a quality assessment and improvement process facilitated by Memphis Grizzlies TEAM Up Youth Mentoring Partnership

Training and Development

REACH Memphis coaches are trained through the Stewards of Children Training at the Memphis Child Advocacy Center. The program provides our coaches with the knowledge they need to create safe environments for REACH participants.
